The Shug is a mix of German Shepard and Pug, but they’re usually closer to the Pug in size, 13 to 17 pounds and a foot tall. They are friendly, intelligent dogs and easy to train, so they make excellent family dogs.

Behaviour and Personality

Shugs need plenty of exercise; otherwise, they tend toward obesity. Those who dislike shedding will appreciate the Shug, who sheds very little and doesn’t need much coat maintenance. Their fur can come in almost any color, but brown, tan, black and cream are the most common.
