Behaviour and Personality
German Australian Shepherds are loving and friendly dogs that enjoy being around family. Alert and loyal, they can be wary of strangers, suiting them for watch dog jobs. They should be socialized early on to get along with children. Training, however, should be simple as these dogs are very smart and love to please. Their exercise needs are high and as very active dogs, they require several hours of daily exercise and lots of space to run around in.
